ASTANA – As part of the strategic agreements on biological security, National Holding QazBioPharm JSC hosted a working meeting with a delegation from the French company Boehringer Ingelheim. The discussion on production and technical matters was attended by the Holding’s leadership along with representatives from the Ministry of Healthcare and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the current implementation of the joint project at the OtarBioPharm plant. Primary focus was placed on coordinating delivery schedules and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the operational cooperation model. Participants emphasized the vital importance of regular information exchange to maintain the continuity of production processes and the fulfillment of mutual obligations.

The current visit of the French partners is comprehensive, involving high-level coordination with key government agencies. As part of the itinerary, the delegation is holding a series of meetings with representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to align further steps for supplying the domestic market with essential pharmaceutical products. This partnership is aimed at maintaining and developing the biotechnological cluster in Kazakhstan, in accordance with the priorities of bilateral cooperation.
