JSC “Scientific Center for Anti-Infective Drugs”:
– development of new drugs with selective pharmacological action and biologically active substances, study of their physical and chemical properties and modeling of the structure of new substances and substances; study of the mechanisms of formation of bioactive substances and their stability;
– conducting scientific research at the intersection of related sciences (radiology, cytology, molecular biology), studying the mechanism of action and transport in a living organism of drugs labeled with radioactive isotopes;
– determination of the degree of humoral and cellular immune responses of animals and humans when exposed to medicinal substances in vivo and in vitro models;
– study of the antimicrobial efficacy of synthesized substances using CLSI and EUCAST methods, study of the mechanisms of action of drugs on bacterial cells, assessment of the potential mutagenic activity of new compounds within the framework of preclinical studies in accordance with the GLP standard;
– study of the mechanisms of formation of bacterial resistance to antibiotics and possible ways to overcome it, study of the mechanisms of genetically determined resistance of multiresistant strains that pose a threat to the biological safety of the Republic of Kazakhstan using next-generation sequencing, isolation, identification and determination of the sensitivity profile of clinical isolates isolated from healthcare facilities in Almaty, identification and characterization of pathogenicity and virulence factors;
