The National Holding «QazBioPharm» is a strategic hub of innovation and a guarantor of biological safety in Kazakhstan.
The Holding conducts fundamental and applied scientific research and develops biopharmaceutical products. In addition, it possesses unique expertise in strengthening the national scientific capacity in the fields of healthcare and veterinary medicine.
The Holding comprises eight scientific and production organizations that operate in a coordinated manner:

The Holding’s resource base includes three microorganism collection centers and 66 research laboratories.

The activities of the eight accredited laboratories and production sites fully comply with international quality standards ISO 17025, GLP, GMP, and ISO 13485.

In recent years, more than 100 scientific projects and 20 scientific and technical programs have been implemented. Research results have been published in 350 scientific articles indexed in international databases Web of Science and Scopus.

The Holding’s assets include 156 active patents and 118 registration certificates. A total of 53 product names have been introduced into production, including up to 34 types of medical and veterinary products.

The human resource potential of QazBioPharm consists of 1,200 employees, whose professional work is aimed at addressing the country’s strategic objectives. The Holding employs 684 scientific specialists, including 35 professors, 31 Doctors of Science, 126 Candidates of Science, 72 PhD Doctors, as well as experts of international level.
