The Kazakh Research Veterinary Institute Celebrated Its 120th Anniversary
An international scientific and practical conference titled “120 Years of Kazakh Veterinary Science: Achievements and New Challenges in Ensuring Biological Safety” was held in Almaty to mark the 120th anniversary of the Kazakh Research Veterinary Institute.
The conference was attended by Yerme k Kenzhekhanuly, Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Romano Marabelli, Advisor to the Director General of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH); as well as leading scientists and experts from Switzerland, China, South Korea, Belarus, Tajikistan, Russia, Turkey, Georgia, and other countries.
The conference was organized to strengthen the interaction between science and practice in the veterinary sector, exchange international experience, and develop strategic directions for ensuring biological safety and implementing innovative technologies.
