On the eve of Republic Day, a solemn ceremony was held in the capital to honor the best representatives of Kazakhstan’s healthcare system, reports the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

By decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, high state awards were conferred on the heads of national medical and scientific centers, doctors, professors, department heads of medical universities, nurses, and ambulance drivers. More than 100 healthcare professionals received state awards, and over 1,300 people received departmental awards.

Among the awardees are holders of the Order of Kurmet, the Order of Parasat, the Shapagat and For Distinguished Labor medals, as well as honorary titles.

Notably, employees of subsidiaries of the QazBioPharm Holding were among the honored:

Aslan Kerimbaev, Acting General Director of the Research Institute for Biological Safety Issues (NIIPBB);

Kuandyk Zhuginisov, Head of the Laboratory of the Republican Collection of Microorganisms;

Zhanar Tekebayeva, Senior Researcher of the Republican Collection of Microorganisms;

Sergey Papengheim, Chief Engineer of NIIPBB.
