On November 27–28 of this year, an international scientific and practical conference titled “Biological Safety in the Context of Global Threats: Scientific and Technological Approaches to Counteraction” was held in Astana, organized by the National Holding QazBioPharm. The event brought together scientists and veterinary experts from Kazakhstan, China, Russia, and France, reports Egemen.kz.

The aim of the conference was to discuss current issues in the field of biological safety, propose scientifically based approaches to counter new threats, and strengthen international cooperation. At the plenary session, representatives of government bodies, international organizations, and research institutes delivered presentations.
