An international conference dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the Kazakh Research Veterinary Institute was organized in the city.

The scientific event brought together more than 300 participants — representatives of the Presidential Administration, members of the Mazhilis, government agencies, the Almaty Akimat, as well as scientists from Russia, China, South Korea, Switzerland, Belarus, Georgia, Tajikistan, and other countries. The aim of the conference was to strengthen the interaction between science and practice in the veterinary sector, and to exchange international experience through the development of strategic directions for ensuring biological safety and integrating innovative technologies.
