The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan presented state awards to representatives of the healthcare sector

On the eve of the Day of the Medical Worker, the Decrees of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan awarded high state awards to the best doctors, healthcare professionals, and specialists in various fields who have been making an outstanding contribution to the protection of the nation’s health for many years, the Ministry of Health reports.

A total of 68 representatives of the healthcare sector were awarded the orders of “Barys”, “Parasat”, “Dostyk”, “Kurmet”, as well as the medals “Yeren yenbegi ushin”, “Shapagat”.

This year, 8 doctors were awarded the honorary title of “Kazakstannyn enbek sinirgen darigeri” for special services to the country.

These awards are a well—deserved recognition of their high responsibility, professionalism and loyalty to the profession.

In 2024, at the initiative of President Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, a law was passed aimed at comprehensive protection of doctors — legal, financial and professional.

Since last year, the Head of State has established the honorary title “Kazakstannyn enbek sinirgen darigeri”, which has become a symbol of special respect for doctors.

Today, in his speech at the award ceremony for medical workers, the President noted that over the past five years, salaries in the healthcare sector have almost doubled. Scholarships at specialized universities and colleges have increased. All necessary conditions are also being created for the organization of mentoring by qualified doctors and further adaptation of young specialists.

He stressed that the state will continue to provide support to medical workers.
