A specialist in cellular biotechnology and cytology. Developer of a method for microencapsulation of cells in biocompatible polymers for cell therapy. Under his direct involvement, the laboratory launched a new direction—obtaining stem cells and applying them for tissue and cell replacement therapy. Author of over 40 scientific publications, including 11 in international journals, 6 certificates of authorship, and 1 monograph. Recipient of an Honorary Diploma from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Key Achievements:

— A bioconstruct “collagen + cultured limbal stem cells” for the treatment of eye diseases;
— Microencapsulation of cells derived from stem cells;
— A specialized museum-bank for long-term storage of certified primary and passaged cell cultures;
— Derivation of beta cells for transplantation therapy;
— Testing of various substances on cell cultures for potential use as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, insecticides, and preservatives.
