Timoshchenko Yuriy Evgenievich

Yuriy E. Tymoshchenko, a Ukrainian, was born on June 8, 1962 in the Akmola region, Zhaksyn district, in the village of Zhanazhol. Higher education. In 1985, he graduated from the Tselinograd State Medical Institute, and in 2001 from the Kostanay Institute of Business and Management.

Labor activity:

Yuri Evgenievich began his career in 1985, working as an intern at the Turgai Regional Hospital. From 1986 to 1987, he was a psychiatrist and narcologist at the Turgai Regional Narcological dispensary, and then became head of department No. 2 at the same dispensary in 1987-1988. In 1988-1989, he worked as a psychiatrist and narcologist at the Kiiminsky district Hospital of the Tselinograd region.

From 1989 to 1992, he held the position of head of the adolescent service of the Tselinograd Regional Narcological dispensary, and in 1992 he became a psychiatrist-narcologist at the Med-Tim scientific and production enterprise. From 1992 to 1998, he was the chief physician of this company.

From 1998 to 2001, Yuri Evgenievich headed Zhana-Zhol-T LLP, an agricultural company. In 2001-2005, he served as President of the Kazakhstan-Ukraine Commercial and Industrial Union, and from 2005 to 2012, he was director of the Obereg Ukrainian National Cultural Center LLP.

From 2005 to the present, Yuri Evgenievich has been Chairman of the Coordinating Council of the NGO “Rada Ukrainians of Kazakhstan” and Chairman of the Republican NGO “Rada Ukrainians of Kazakhstan”. In 2010-2012, he was Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.

In 2012, Yuri Evgenievich was elected a deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Fifth convocation from the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and became a member of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security. In April 2013, he became a member of the Council of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and in March 2016 to March 2021, he was a deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the VI convocation.

Since 2020, Yuriy Evgenievich has been a member of the Supervisory Board of the City Mental Health Center, and since April 2021, he has become the founder and CEO of the Obereg Ukrainian National Cultural Center LLP.

Awards and achievements:

Yuri Evgenievich is a member of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a member of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, a member of the Council for the Development of Languages and a member of the Astana Club of Patrons. For his significant contribution to strengthening the unity of the people of Kazakhstan, intercultural dialogue and social harmony, as well as for achievements in organizing and holding various events, he was awarded many state awards, including:

Personal life:

Yuri Evgenievich is married and has one child.

Since August 2022, he has also been an independent member of the Board of Directors of JSC National Holding Company QazBioPharm.
