Sultangaziyev Timur Slamzhanovich
First Vice Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Member of the Board of DirectorsTimur Slamzhanovich Sultangaziyev was born on June 25, 1982, in Almaty.
Mr. Sultangaziyev graduated from the Kazakh National Medical University and Tulane University (USA) under the Bolashak program.
Career
From 2005-2007 – he worked as а laboratory assistant at the Department of Normal Anatomy, and a student of clinical residency at the Department of Surgical Diseases at Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University.
In 2010 he worked as a leading and later as a chief specialist at the Republican Scientific Center of Emergency Medical Care.
From 2010-2013 he worked as a manager, chief manager, and director of the Department of Innovation and Technology Transfer at the National Medical Holding.
In 2013-2014 – President of the Center of Medical Technologies and Information Systems.
In 2014-2016 – Deputy General Director of «Mediker» LLP.
From February to August 2016, he held the position of Deputy Director General at the Republican Center for Health Development of the Ministry of Health and Social Development.
In 2016-2017 – Director of the Department of Standardization of Medical Services, Department of Project Management of the Ministry of Health.
In 2017-2018 – Director of the Department of Project Management of the Ministry of Health.
In 2018-2020 – Head of the Health Department of the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan region.
In 2020, he held the position of Chairman of the Quality Control Committee for the Ministry of Health.
In 2021 – Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Kazakh-Turkish Consulting at YDA Group.
In 2021-2022 – he held the position of Deputy Akim of the North Kazakhstan region.
On October 31, 2022, Mr. Sultangaziyev was appointed the First Vice Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
