On the eve of Science Day, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with representatives of the scientific community and extended his congratulations on their professional holiday. The Head of State expressed gratitude to scientists who achieve outstanding results in various fields of science and make a significant contribution to the country’s development.

During the official ceremony, leading scientists were awarded state honors for their achievements in science and technology. Among them were representatives of scientific and production institutions that are part of QazBioPharm National Holding JSC.

The “Qurmet” Order was awarded to:

• Zakir Zhaparovich Ershebuloв, Director of OtarBioPharm LLP
• Almagul Apsalamovna Kakimzhanova, Head of Laboratory at National Center for Biotechnology LLP

The “Eren enbegi ushin” Medal (“For Distinguished Labor”) was awarded to:

• Indira Alibayevna Akhazhanova, Junior Researcher at OtarBioPharm LLP
• Bolat Amanbayevich Espembetov, Head of Laboratory at Research Institute for Biological Safety Problems LLP
• Kosman Maratovich Kabaldin, Chlorination Station Operator at Research Institute for Biological Safety Problems LLP
• Alexander Vyacheslavovich Shustov, Head of Laboratory at National Center for Biotechnology LLP

These awards reflect recognition of many years of fruitful work and the valuable contributions of scientists to strengthening biological safety, developing next-generation vaccines, and advancing domestic biotechnological science.
