On April 8-9, 2025, the 3rd International Congress and Exhibition “Pharma Kazakhstan and Central Asia” was held in Almaty, bringing together more than 200 representatives of the pharmaceutical industry from Kazakhstan, the CIS and foreign countries. The National Holding “QazBioPharm” took part in the event, presenting the key areas of its activities and the potential of scientific and production structures.

The General Director of the Holding, Yergali Orynbasarovich Abduraimov, made a report in which he spoke about the achievements and priorities of QazBioPharm in the field of development and production of biopharmaceutical products. Such areas as the expansion of production infrastructure, the release of domestic vaccines, the introduction of modern technologies, as well as the development of scientific potential in the Holding’s organizations were covered.

The Congress became an important professional platform for exchanging experiences and discussing current challenges in the industry. The participants focused on the issues of localization of production, ensuring compliance with international standards, digitalization, development of logistics and increasing the efficiency of pharmaceutical chains. Lively discussions, a rich business program and the opportunity to build a direct dialogue between business, science and the government gave the event a special dynamic.
