On June 25, 2025, Alexander Anokhin, Commercial Director for Vaccines in the CIS at Sanofi, paid a working visit to the National Holding QazBioPharm. During the meeting, the production infrastructure and capabilities of the OtarBioPharm plant were presented, and key issues related to bilateral cooperation were discussed.

QazBioPharm continues to strengthen international partnerships and is consistently working to develop the biopharmaceutical industry in Kazakhstan.

As a reminder, on May 28, 2025, during the Kazakhstan–France Business Forum held in Astana, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Sanofi.

The document aims to enhance cooperation in the field of pharmaceutical production and scientific research, as well as to explore opportunities for technology transfer and the localization of biopharmaceutical manufacturing in Kazakhstan.

The recent meeting focused on discussing practical steps for implementing the agreements reached and expanding future collaboration.
