On July 31, 2024, an official meeting with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Zhang Xiao, will be held at the QazBioPharm National Holding Joint-Stock Company (hereinafter referred to as the Holding) .

At the same time, the participation of the Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Science and Innovation, Zakariya Kunsulu Daltonovna, is planned at this meeting.

The main goal of the meeting is to strengthen further partnership, establish cooperation with leading Chinese companies in the field of biotechnology, genomic technologies, molecular diagnostics, as well as familiarize themselves with the work of the world-class genetic laboratory Astana Genomic Centre (AGC), opened on July 18, 2024 on the basis of the National Biotechnology Center, a subsidiary of the Holding.

The main feature of this laboratory is that it develops innovative methods for diagnosing and treating various diseases, including genetic and oncological diseases.
