Today, the II Kazakhstan Pharmaceutical Forum has commenced in Almaty. The event brought together representatives of government agencies, leading domestic and international pharmaceutical companies, research institutes, and key industry experts.

As part of the forum, Ergali Abduraimov, General Director of JSC “National Holding “QazBioPharm” delivered a speech on “The Scientific and Production Potential and Development Prospects of the National Holding “QazBioPharm”. In his presentation, he highlighted the key achievements of the Holding in ensuring the country’s biological security, developing biopharmaceutical science and production, and meeting the state’s and society’s demand for domestic biopharmaceutical products. Additionally, he provided insights into the cutting-edge technological solutions being implemented in the industry.

The head of the Holding particularly emphasized the ongoing efforts to introduce CAR-T chimeric antigen receptor therapy technology for hematological tumors into practical healthcare, develop vaccines against human diseases based on genomic technologies, and establish a high-tech biomedical production facility compliant with GMP standards for treating joint cartilage defects.

Tomorrow, the II Kazakhstan Pharmaceutical Forum will continue its work. The forum program includes discussions on the trends in the development of Kazakhstan’s pharmaceutical market, regulatory issues in the drug market, and production localization strategies. The second day of the forum is also expected to feature important meetings and insightful discussions.
