On July 29, 2024, the Research Institute for Biological Safety Problems and the biopharmaceutical plant “OtarBioPharm,” subsidiaries of JSC “National Holding QazBioPharm,” were visited by First Vice Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, T. S. Sultangaziyev, Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, D. Zh. Akhmed-Zaki, and senior leaders of relevant research institutes and scientific centers.

During the visit, the delegation reviewed the operations and achievements of these organizations.

Following the site visits, discussions were held on the draft Concept for the Development of the Biological Safety Sector in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2025–2030.
