Limited Liability Partnership “Republican Collection of Microorganisms” (RCM) is a subsidiary of JSC “National Holding QazBioPharm.”

The Republican Collection of Microorganisms was established by the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 30, 2002, No. 850, “On the Republican Collection of Microorganisms,” and serves as a depository of industrially valuable microorganisms.

By the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 20, 2021, No. 910, “On the Establishment of the Joint Stock Company ‘National Holding QazBioPharm,'” and the Order of the Committee for State Property and Privatization of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 17, 2022, No. 470, it was transformed into the Limited Liability Partnership “Republican Collection of Microorganisms.”

The Republican Collection of Microorganisms is located in the city of Astana and operates five scientific laboratories with various specializations.

Acting General Director: Zhandarbek Mukhtarovich Bekshin, Candidate of Medical Sciences.

Charter Activities:

– Formation of an informational database in the field of industrial microorganism collections;
– Development and improvement of production technologies for preventive and diagnostic biopharmaceuticals in line with the company’s profile;
– Publication of journals and periodicals in microbiology and biotechnology;
– Wholesale distribution of pharmaceutical and medical products within the guaranteed volume of free medical care;
– Scientific research and experimental development in biotechnology;
– Research and development in the field of anti-infective drugs;
– Other research and development in the natural and technical sciences;
– Other healthcare-related activities;
– Leasing and management of proprietary real estate.
