120 years of Kazakh Veterinary Science: Achievements and Emerging Challenges in Biological Safety

An International Scientific and Practical Conference titled “120 years of Kazakh Veterinary Science: Achievements and Emerging Challenges in Biological Safety” will be held on May 15, 2025, in Almaty (hereinafter – the Conference), dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the Kazakh Scientific Research Veterinary Institute.

The Kazakh Scientific Research Veterinary Institute, widely recognized as the forerunner of Kazakh scientific research, was founded in 1905 and remains one of the oldest research institutions in the country. This organization since 2023 continues its activities as part of the joint-stock company “National Holding” QazBioPharm”.

The objective of the Conference is to strengthen cooperation between science and practice in the field of veterinary medicine by developing strategic directions for ensuring biological safety and integrating innovative technologies, as well as facilitating international scientific exchange.

The Conference is expected to be attended by representatives of the Presidential Administration, state organizations, the Akimat (city administration) of Almaty, JSC “National Holding” QazBioPharm”, members of the Parliament (Majilis), and leading scientists and specialists from both domestic and international scientific organizations (including Russia, China, South Korea, Europe, Belarus, Georgia, Tajikistan, and others).
