On May 30, 2025, as part of an official visit to Kazakhstan, a delegation from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO), as well as national IP offices of China, Indonesia, Morocco, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and other CIS countries, accompanied by representatives of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, will visit JSC “National Holding QazBioPharm”.

The delegation will include high-level experts in the fields of intellectual property, innovation, and science. Among the expected participants are Ahsan Habib, Director of the Department for Transition and Developed Countries of WIPO; Ilya Gribkov, Head of the Central Asia, Caucasus and Eastern Europe Section at WIPO; Grigory Ivliev, President of the Eurasian Patent Office of the Eurasian Patent Organization; as well as official representatives of CNIPA (China), DGIP (Indonesia), MoroccoAI, and other organizations.

A welcoming address will be delivered by the Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Science and Innovation, Kunsulu Zakaria, as well as by the management of the Holding.

The visit program includes tours of the National Scientific Biotechnology Laboratory for Collective Use, as well as the Proteomics and Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, and the Plant Biotechnology and Breeding Laboratory.
